Numerous national and international research studies are conducted by the department's faculty in the fields of:
Algebra and Number Theory
Geometry
Foundations of Mathematics and Mathematical Logic
Topology
Applied Mathematics
Analysis and Theory of Functions
The Web of Science database contains numerous studies by department faculty members between 2000 and 2023. We also provide necessary mathematical support to students in various departments at our university, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Our primary goal in undergraduate education is to equip our students with a high-level foundational mathematical knowledge in the main branches of mathematics and, in light of this knowledge, to equip them with the ability to understand and reason across diverse information. Thus, we aim to become a department that cultivates individuals who will excel in their professions, equipping our students with the skills to think abstractly and conduct mathematical analysis. Our primary goal in graduate education is to equip our students with the ability to conduct independent research and research in graduate-level fields. We aim to cultivate individuals who will contribute to science at national and international levels and conduct high-level scientific research.
